![]() I prefer to stay current at all times here. Your attitude of: " If it ain't broke, don't fix it" will eventually burn you. I personally wouldn't run any version of QTS 3.x on any device. Do you review the QNAP Security Bulletins and Advisories regularly? I don't quite understand your desire to run insecure/depreciated software, but as long as none of your devices are connected to the Internet in any way, I suppose there is no harm in it. I can see how to change the option for individual media devices, but still only a choice of basic options.Īm I missing something or is this version inferior? Can I 'downgrade' ?ĭazed_n_confused wrote:Apologies if this has been covered but I can't really find an answer, not that I understand anyway. The options seem fixed with no advanced tree setup. So the problem I now have is that I can't see the custom tree setup. I found this running firmware 4.1.1 Build 20141101 with Twonky 7.2.7. Having now run out of space, I decided to revive a noisy TS110 to use for video so I could leave my TS219P specifically for my (expensive) hires music library. I have always found it extremely simple to set up and get pretty much exactly what is needed for any type of media. I also use it to serve video to PS3, WD Live, PS4. Music tree is set up for several search options specifically to suit music, artist/album etc. I have never updated the firmware as it works perfectly running firmware 3.0.0 Build 0430T, using Twonky 4.4.14. I have been using a raid mirrored TS219P for probably around 5 years. Apologies if this has been covered but I can't really find an answer, not that I understand anyway. ![]()
